Managing exclusions
You can view a list of exclusions for the selected site by clicking on Excluded IPs or Excluded domains on the menu.
From this page you can see the details and status of exclusions, delete all exclusions, export a full list in CSV format, retry any failed syncs, or add a new exclusion manually.
Exclusion details
By
Either a link to the session that first caused the exclusion to be added, or User if the exclusion was manually added by a user.
Seen in
The number of sessions that the IP or domain has been seen in since it was excluded.
Expires
IP and domain exclusions will auto-expire after the number of days set as the exclusion expiry. On this date the exclusion will be deleted and the item will disappear from the list.
Status
Since exclusions need to be reliably synced with Google, the status field shows the remote status of the exclusion. Possible statuses are:
- Active - The exclusion is fully active.
- Syncing - Hitprobe is adding or removing the exclusion in Google Ads.
- Error - There was a problem with the sync. The message may provide more information about the problem. Click the retry icon or the Retry all button at the top of the page to try failed syncs again.
- Deleted - After the exclusion is successfully deleted, it will remain in this status until the page is refreshed.
If you need to force the deletion of exclusions from the list after you have disconnected Google, you can use the sync without connection setting to allow this.
