General settings
Other settings that allow you to more precisely control how Hitprobe works. To manage a site's general settings, go to Manage site > Settings > General.
Excluded IP limit
You can change the maximum number of excluded IPs here. By default it's set at 500, which is the maximum number allowed by Google Ads. If you set the limit lower, IP exclusions will be expired early in order to limit the number of excluded IPs to the maximum you set here.
The minimum is 50 and the maximum is 500.
IPs excluded outside of Hitprobe (i.e. directly in Google Ads) will also count towards this limit.
Exclusion expiry
IP and domain exclusions auto-expire (are automatically removed) after the number of days you set here. The Expire IP exclusions after (days) setting applies to both IP addresses and IP networks.
Sync without connection
By default, if there is no connection to Google Ads, syncing of IP or domain exclusions will fail. This allows you to retry later once a connection is created (it keeps Hitprobe and Google in sync).
Enable Ignore missing connection when syncing when you want to remove/reset exclusions after Google Ads has been disconnected. It is recommended to keep this setting off unless you specifically need it.
This setting does not affect syncs where a connection exists, but the operation fails (these will still error).
