General settings

Other settings that allow you to more precisely control how Hitprobe works.

Blocked IP limit

You can change the maximum number of blocked IPs here. By default it's set at 500, which is the maximum number allowed by Google Ads. If you set the limit lower, IP blocks will be expired early in order to limit the number of blocked IPs to the maximum you set here.

The minimum is 50 and the maximum is 500.

note

IPs blocked outside of Hitprobe (i.e. directly in Google Ads) will also count towards this limit.

Block expiry

IP and domain blocks auto-expire (are automatically removed) after the number of days you set here. The Expire IP blocks after (days) setting applies to both IP addresses and IP networks.

Sync without connection

By default, if there is no connection to an ad platform, syncing of IP or domain blocks will fail. This allows you to retry later once a connection is created (it keeps Hitprobe and the ad network in sync).

Enable Sync successfully if no ad platform connected when you want to remove/reset blocks after the ad network has been disconnected. It is recommended keep this setting off unless you specifically need it.

note

This setting does not affect syncs where a connection exists, but the operation fails (these will still error).
